Naloxone is a lifesaving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Individuals, families, and organizations can receive overdose education, naloxone training, and nasal naloxone. Learn more about these important resources.
Services
Naloxone can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and can help saves lives. Throughout central Illinois, the Drug Overdose Prevention Program at Trillium Place provides the following opportunities at no cost:
- Education on overdose prevention.
- Training on how to respond to an opioid overdose.
- Nasal naloxone.
Thousands of individuals have received education and lifesaving nasal naloxone since the grant program began at Trillium Place in 2017. Services are available in Peoria, Fulton, Tazewell, Woodford, LaSalle, Livingston, Logan, Knox, McDonough, Brown, Schuyler, Adams, Pike, Mason and Scott counties.
Education and training are available to individuals, family members, and organizations at no cost.
